The website was confusing. It said "if confirmation takes too long, it means we may not be able to take your order." I waaaaaited. It didn't confirm. I went and got food elsewhere. 30 mins later I got confirmation. And the food came without cutlery. The food was good but the experience was frustrating.

We arrived at the restaurant hungry and tired after a long flight from Chicago, asking whether they served vegetarian food.
Wily, the hostess who greeted us, said that they do, but that we were 15 minutes past the time they accept the last customer. So we asked her whether she could recommend another place. She looked at her watch and said that there's nothing around at this hour of the night. As we turned around to leave, she said, "Look, I can't let you go hungry. Let me go check with the chef whether she would be willing to accommodate you". She was back in a few minutes, saying that the chef was agreeable. What should I call this attitude and behavior - accommodating, obliging, kind, considerate, hospitable?
And guess what? We had the most delicious vegetarian Thai food ever. When they said that they would prepare vegetarian food, they sure do. No fish or oyster sauces or shrimp paste!
We enjoyed the food so much that we were back on the last day of our stay in Calgary for another meal.
Definitely recommend the bistro!

We loved everything we ordered and the service is excellent. Very attentive and kind service and delicious food.
